Delete your Confluo account
Confluo is an app published by Velocity Consulting Group Pte Ltd, a company incorporated in Singapore. This page explains how to delete your Confluo account and the data that goes with it, with or without the app, and what we keep afterwards.
1. Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open Confluo and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete account.
- Type DELETE (in capitals) and tap Delete permanently.
Your account is deleted straight away. If you signed up with Sign in with Apple, the app first asks Apple to confirm, so we can also end Confluo's access to your Apple Account. If Apple can't be reached, the app offers to try again or to delete anyway; if you delete anyway, remove Confluo yourself in your Apple Account settings (on iPhone: Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple).
You can do this from any device: sign in with the same email address (or Sign in with Apple on iPhone and iPad) and follow the steps above.
2. Delete by email (without the app)
Email support@confluoapp.com from the address you sign in to Confluo with, with the subject Delete my account.
- We acknowledge your request within 7 days.
- We delete the account within 30 days of your request.
- If you write from a different address, we will ask you to confirm that the account is yours before deleting anything.
3. What is deleted
When your account is deleted, the following are removed from our live database at once:
- Your account record, email address, preferences, check-in times and language.
- Every connected Outlook, Teams, Slack and Gmail account and its access tokens.
- Every action item, briefing and history entry, the processing metadata behind them, and any Slack messages still waiting to be processed.
- Your push notification tokens and the record of notifications we sent you.
- Your sign-in sessions on every device.
- Your subscription status and any complimentary access held by Confluo, and any answers you gave in the cancellation survey.
Access at the provider. When you delete your account in the app, we also ask Slack and Google to revoke Confluo's access. This is best effort: if the provider is unavailable at that moment, or (for Google) the same Google account is still connected to another Confluo account, the access is not revoked for you. Microsoft offers no way for us to revoke it. When we delete your account for you after an email request, we delete our copy of the tokens but do not contact the providers. In every case our copy of the tokens is gone, so Confluo can no longer use them, and you can remove Confluo's access yourself at any time: Slack (workspace settings → Manage apps), Google (Google Account → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services), Microsoft (your account's app permissions page).
4. What is kept, and for how long
A cleanup job runs once a day. Where a period is given below, it is the point at which that daily cleanup deletes the record, not a to-the-minute deadline.

5. Your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a Confluo Pro subscription. Cancel it in the store you bought it from:
- Google Play: the Google Play app → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- iPhone or iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
If you subscribed without creating an account, there is no Confluo account to delete; cancelling in the store ends the subscription.
